is the best gift buyer in all the world!

That's right, this morning I was still 194...but at least I'm not gaining. So, if you look closely at the picture you will see that I'm not skinny yet....and that I have a tree behind me now, and if you look very closely, you will see one of my new pairs of glasses! :) I have to wait until Christmas for the other pair, cause they're technically a Christmas present, but my Sweetie let me have one early. :)

Jason and I heard about and saw a clip from this movie in church on Sunday. The first thing we did after leaving church was to move our butts over to Blockbuster to rent it, and we watched it later that evening. What a wonderfully amazing story! I highly recommend it. :)

Jason's dad is getting married next summer and will be moving out of his place, and had two trees that he had planted many years ago and offered to cut one down for us for our Christmas tree this year. :) We've been very excited about it, and he brought it out to us yesterday, and it is 10 feet tall!! Good thing it wasn't any taller, cause it JUST fits in our living room. :) It takes up about half of the room, but that's ok.

We had bought a couple of boxes of lights at Goodwill, neither of which worked, so I ended up going out late to get new lights...and we got our garland super cheap at Salvation Army. :) I think it was about 10:30 by the time we finished decorating, but I love it, it's so pretty! ...and it makes our apartment smell wonderful!

Now I want to see pictures of everyone else's trees! (especially yours, Magen!)

I weighed in yesterday at 194...once again, for the third week in a row. 193 is getting closer, I'm sure of it....

I think I would have been at 193 if I had not missed Wednesday evening's "last chance workout." Can you tell I'm a Biggest Looser watcher? :) Wednesday night we has Jason's work Christmas party, and I wouldn't have had time to workout, shower, dry my hair, and make myself presentable before the party, so I opted to skip the workout. Then...lo and behold, I come home from work to a note on my apartment door that says I have a package waiting at the office, so I'm like, since I'm missing my workout, I'll get bundled up and WALK to the office to pick up my package.

Ha ha ha...so, in the past week we've had about 7 or 8 inches of snow, and none of it had been removed from the sidewalks, but I had decided to walk, and walk I did. It was cold...and a silly old tree removed my hat and threw it down into the snow, and when I got to the office the box was a little larger than I expected it to be...but just then my phone rang.

And who would it be but my knight in shinning armor. :) So he came and picked me up and drove me back to the apartment.

I don't know how my weigh-in next week will go, I worked a 12 hour shift yesterday and didn't have time to work out, and tonight we had lots to do to get ready for our tree tomorrow. :) I can't wait to share our tree with you!
